Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as to be one of the top athletes. She was the first American female gymnast in history to win four gold medals at a single Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first woman to ever win consecutive World All-around Championships (2013-15). Biles was born and raised in Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan region. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone initially became interested in gymnastics at the age of six. Her coach Aimee Borman accompanied her to Bannon's Gymnastix in the area, where they were taken to a field trip. Biles took home the gold medal in the floor and vault competitions at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the elite competition level in 2011. Just two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. What set Biles out was her constancy her exuberant personality and the level of challenge she included in her routines across all four events--vault uneven bars balance beam as well as the floor workout.
