Niykee is a song writer that, in spite of her recent whirlwind career has maintained a regular routine. Some of her personal highlights been being selected by Snoop dogg to be his sidekick during the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. Young producer has been fascinated by Niykee. She always tries out latest beats. They often inspire song ideas. She states that she can discern if a beat is a good one in less than five seconds. After that, a fresh track will come into her brain. I sit on my front porch and play my guitar and lyrics appear and it's usually all done in under 30 minutes. Niykee's pain in the past provides an unending source of unexpected ideas. It's hard to avoid the painful memories from my childhood, and especially the loss of my sister. These memories are integrated into her music. This influences my music and builds this deeper significance behind everything that is one the most important things for me. I want to be able to say that I'll be able to hear any of my music 20 years later and feel proud of the things I had to say.
